I gave 4 stars because the directions did not show how and where to install wall hanging hardware on the back. Also once installed the hardware covers the power on button.
It is touch screen use on front but I turned the power off on the front and couldn’t get the touchscreen to come back on the front to start it up again. So I had to remove the wall hanging bracket and am just using the stand unit. Doesn’t make since to have the power button located there.
Once I figured out that I am also a friend and sent myself the code I was easily able to upload my pictures from my cellphone via wifi.
It really is a great product. Has sound, time, weather on it as well.
Bought for my elderly mother and she LOVES seeing pictures of her family arrive daily. She said it’s like having her family with her at all times! The 10.1 ” size allows her to see pictures due to macular degeneration. Simple to set up; easy to use; she loves the option of setting times for it to automatically come on and go off without having to do a thing! Highly recommend.

I love this electronic picture frame! It’s just the right size for my small house. I had tried a 15.6″ one, but it took up too much space. I also love that this frame allows you to adjust the brightness, because not all do.
I load photos from my DSLR camera on the micro SD card, and photos from my smart phone via uploading them wirelessly.
Speaking of uploading photos from my smart phone, the WiFi connection did not work for me, and no help was provided in the printed instructions. However, I googled my dilemma and learned to turn on my smart phone’s mobile hotspot. That did the trick, thankfully.
I prefer the “Fit To Frame” option as that causes all photos — including portrait oriented ones — to present seamlessly in an acceptable fashion. However, the kickstand that comes with the frame can be taken out and re-inserted to support the frame in a portrait orientation. In that case a portrait photo would be presented in it’s entirety, without being compromised. I will buy a second frame and rotate the stand, using it solely for portrait pics. Alternatively, you could load a micro SD card with all portrait pics, and rotate your only frame for viewing that way for awhile.
My only criticism is that in this frame there is no option for randomly shuffling the order of photos. I happen to take a lot of shots of the same subject, so that series becomes tiresome to look at in order. I guess the solution is to only load one or two pics of a series. You can also manually go into the gallery and choose another photo, and the slideshow will pick up from there — which delivers you from a rut of similar photos until you hit the next series.
Gifted this to my mother in law and it’s absolutely perfect. It allows us to send photos to her as we take them.

Very easy to get the app and to add the first pictures. Easy to share the code with others so they can also load their photos. For the price a very good buy. This is our 2nd one and the first one still going strong 2 years later.
Overall, the product is great BUT the power connector doesn’t fit snuggly into the slot. I tried to push but didn’t want to break it. The slightest touch pulls it out which turns the unit off.
I emailed the vendor four days ago, but no reply so far.
I ended up returning it because there were a few deal breakers for me, but it doesn’t seem like a good quality frame.
Pros:
-Thin frame/large screen
-Photo quality is excellent
-Can choose to fill frame or fit photo to frame
-When fitting photo to frame, there are multiple options for the dead space (including a blurred extension of the photo)
Cons:
– Can’t upload from a computer, only from app you have to download on your phone
– If you turn on captioning, it shows either date it was uploaded or date it was taken and you can’t remove it
– Which date above is displayed in caption mode is based on order you choose display photos (either by upload date or by taken on date)
– No control to manually order photos
– Uploading from phone and captioning individual photos is not user friendly (very unwieldy & time consuming)
– If you use a micro sd to play photos, you can’t caption them without downloading. Internal capacity is 16gb and although you can increase capacity with a 32gb micro sd, that does not allow for captioning.
I love that this frame is able to download photos from overseas. My husband is deployed so before he left I uploaded lots of photos, and hoping that while he was gone I could shoot over videos and photos l so he would feel like he was apart of. It works great! He loves it, and he loves waking up to new adventures of me and our baby! I highly recommend.
I have purchased two of these frames as gifts to family. The app allows you to easily toggle between frames or share pics to both frames. Some of the pictures do come through cropped which is a bit annoying but overall this is wonderful. My mom has had so much joy watching the photos and having her kids send pics to it from across the world. She loves hearing the little “ding” of a new picture coming through. Highly recommend!
