My Review of the BISSELL SteamShot Deluxe Hard Surface Steam Cleaner
Performance and Versatility
I recently purchased the BISSELL SteamShot Deluxe Hard Surface Steam Cleaner (model 39N7A), and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. This little device has quickly become my go-to solution for tackling dirt, grime, and grease on various surfaces in my home.
One of the standout features of this steam cleaner is its natural sanitization capability. I appreciate that it doesn’t require any harsh chemicals, making it an eco-friendly choice. The steam it produces is hot enough to effectively kill germs and bacteria, which gives me peace of mind when cleaning high-touch areas.
The included multi-surface tools are a game-changer. They allow me to clean everything from kitchen countertops and bathroom tiles to oven grates and even my car’s upholstery. The variety of attachments makes this steam cleaner incredibly versatile and suitable for a wide range of cleaning tasks.
Ease of Use
I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the SteamShot Deluxe heats up and is ready to use. The on-demand steam trigger allows me to control the amount of steam I want, which is great for different surfaces and levels of dirt.
Refilling the water tank is easy, although the small size of the tank does require more frequent refills, especially when tackling larger areas. However, the effectiveness of the steam cleaning and the time saved compared to traditional cleaning methods more than make up for this minor inconvenience.
Durability and Design
This steam cleaner is made of plastic, which may give it a slightly flimsy feel. However, I have not experienced any issues with durability so far. The compact size and lightweight design make it easy to handle and maneuver around tight spaces.
Final Thoughts
In conclusion, the BISSELL SteamShot Deluxe Hard Surface Steam Cleaner is a versatile and efficient cleaning tool. It delivers powerful steam cleaning without the need for chemicals, making it a safe and eco-friendly option. With its range of multi-surface tools, it can handle various cleaning tasks with ease. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I highly recommend this steam cleaner for anyone looking to achieve a deep clean and sanitize their home.

ça semblait prometteur mais à la 2ème utilisation l’appareil ne chauffe plus, ne fait aucune vapeur.
Excelente par limpiar en lugares dificiles y quitar cochambre viejo
I bought this after watching someone who was probably being paid tout this as the most amazing cleaning product in the world.
I will say it works well, there are a ton of good things as everyone has said about it, hence my 4-star rating, however, there are some cons that I will mention below:
– It does not get “hot”, so the steam is not as useful as you would think. It only gets warm.
– The thing has to be constantly plugged in, and it gets “cold” very frequently and then you gotta wait a minute or so for it to heat back up
– It’s small, so you have to refill it a lot. I tried to do my small bathroom and I could barely do one wall. Granted I was deep deep cleaning because I’d never done the grout in this house before, but it still was quite frustrating
– It’s all plastic. So everything feels flimsy
– So far, it works great at: cleaning up mold/mildew in the shower tiles, around the edges, etc. (not with the provided grout tool, that sucks), I have used it on TV and monitor screens and it has worked well (be gentle and hold it back a ways), cleaning window sills (this has been the most amazing and satisfying thing so far!) and amazingly, it works great when you are going to put your holiday dinnerware away. After cleaning it, I give it a nice spritz with the Bissell and it shines it all up nice and disinfects it. If you don’t have a dishwasher, I would say this until could be of great help with getting caked on foods off if you needed to (I have not tried that yet), it has also worked great at cleaning up wood molding, cabinet doors, and spectacular for using to disinfect and clean doorknobs.
– So far, it does not work great at getting stains off countertops, cleaning windows (the provided squeegee does not work well at all), cleaning stains around the toilet on the floor or cleaning the outside body of the toilet, cleaning tabletops, I would say it is not great for cleaning flat surfaces at all.
Overall I am happy I bought it, it isn’t the revolutionary cleaning tool I thought it would be but it definitely is something while I’m cleaning I can have in my arsenal.
.
The machine is compact and easy to handle. A good selection of heads for different surfaces requiring cleaning. Cleaned door knobs, faucets and kitchen fan screens well.
finally finished all the final touches on my first place & for my one deep clean of the week, this is an essential. it does everything you need it for, once used once, everything is easier to maintain. you’ll always have a clean home.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the SteamShot Deluxe heats up and is ready to use. The trigger mechanism for dispensing steam is easy to control, so I can adjust the steam output to suit different cleaning needs. Plus, the continuous steam feature is handy for larger cleaning jobs.
The compact size of this steam cleaner is another bonus. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, making it a breeze to clean tight spots and hard-to-reach areas. Additionally, the long power cord gives me the freedom to move around without constantly searching for outlets.
In summary, the BISSELL SteamShot Deluxe Hard Surface Steam Cleaner has exceeded my expectations. It’s a powerful and versatile cleaning tool that delivers exceptional results without the need for harsh chemicals. If you’re looking for an effective and eco-friendly way to tackle tough messes, I highly recommend giving this steam cleaner a try!
La uso para quitar manchas y mugre. Funciona muy bien.
I can’t believe how much stuff this steamer comes with for this price, especially since it actually works really well lol. I didn’t realize it came with a hose or squeegee, or garment steamer head! It’s awesome. I just bought it impulsively because everyone recommends it and I needed a better one. All the stuff fits back in the box for storage pretty well too which is important to me because I lose things.
This machine is worth the price just for how much easier it makes cleaning the fridge. It’s so much less painful for me that I can do it way more often. I don’t have to take everything out or wash the big glass shelves in the bathtub. I’m not getting soapy water in/on my food or forgetting stuff on the counter to go bad.
This machine is so much better than my last one, too. It’s so much less awkward and easier to use. I’ve used it on tons of surfaces now with dried on or baked on stuff that I couldn’t easily get off with different scrubbers and cleaning chemicals. Steam is so much faster and easier. I don’t have to rinse off bubbles/chemicals for 2 hours or keep refilling a hot water bucket. It comes with a ton of little attachments that are actually useful.
The things I don’t like about this device are that if you use the hose, the steam button is only on the machine and it can’t be locked down. There’s no button on the hose. You have to hold the button down on the machine with one hand and use the hose in the other hand. It means if you want to use a rag or brush or anything between bouts of steam, you have to keep switching hands. You also can’t, like, brace a grill or rack with one hand while you steam with the other, because both hands have to hold the steamer. If you only have use of one hand you probably just can’t use the hose by yourself without like, taping the button down. I know it would have cost more to also activate the steam from the hose, so I see why that might not be an option. But you should at least be able to lock the existing button down or something like that. Lots of steam cleaners have always-on steam so it wouldn’t be less safe than those.
The machine is shaped like a kettle bell or something lol. The bottom surface is round and tiny. Since the machine has a hose that puts weight on one side, and it’s all round, it should have a big flat bottom so it won’t roll over all the time. It’s pretty annoying trying to keep it standing up when you set it down for a second. It just rolls over. Even without the hose, the shape is so strange and unstable that it takes too much thought to set it down properly.
There’s no low water indicator or water level window etc. I thought the water tank was empty because the steam lost power, but there was a lot left. (I think I just needed to let it reheat before continuing to use it, but I didn’t realize.) You aren’t supposed to overfill it, but if it’s not empty you can’t tell how much is left in there so you can’t know how much to put in. Since I’d already spent the time to depressurize the machine, I emptied the tank so I could be sure to refill it with the correct amount of water. Of course I burned myself. I wish it had a better way to tell how much water is left.
The orange “heating” indicator light is on the bottom where you can’t see it when you’re holding it in your left hand. It should be higher up and visible from both sides.
I think that’s it! I really like it but it would be a thousand times better if the button locked.
